The search engine has improved functionality. Results on the POI66 search engine are now better, more complete and faster. PS We fixed the bug in POI album downloads.

All your albums have the same password as of today. You can change it from you profile or in the album configuration. New users have a password equal to the last 5 digits of their phone number.

Today the POI66 Android app has been released in the Android Market. If you have an Android phone, you can easily send location by SMS using this app. More info on www.App4Buck.com

POI66 was not reachable this morning and this early afternoon due to a DDOS attack by an unknown party. Everything should work now and no data was lost.

This weekend we added support for automatic importing of Tweets. If you are on a trip, just Tweet your message with a #hashtag (e.g. #russia2011). Additionally you can add the city like *amsterdam (asterisk goes with the city name). Your Tweet is then automatically imported into your album and will appear on the map. Make sure you added your twittername to your profile!
